Through our work, we wanted to build a closer connection between the craft and the community. GRIT became a way to bring local businesses, recovered materials, and thoughtful design together. Giving discarded glass, stone and other byproducts a new purpose while keeping their stories connected to Cleveland.
Today, GRIT combines material recovery, custom aggregate development, and terrazzo fabrication. Each project brings the character of its materials together with the ideas of the people behind it.
